James Edward Westcott. Mr. Westcott was one of the few people permitted to have a camera in the Oak Ridge area during the
Manhattan Project. His monumental body of work stands as the principal photographic record of the construction and operation of the Oak Ridge production facilities, as well as civilian life in the "city behind the fence". To view more of his photographs visit
